PROJECTS

1. Bodoni Condensed
Font Design

Bodoni Condensed is a revival of a typeface from an 1873 edition of Shakespeare’s writings, originally designed by Giambattista Bodoni in the late 18th century. The design extends letter terminals, rounds inner counters, and increases stroke contrast, creating a contemporary interpretation of Bodoni’s classic elegance.

2. Jerusalem Syndrome
Book
Font Design
16x29 cm
360 pages

“Jerusalem Syndrome” addresses the phenomenon of Jerusalem Syndrome — a psychiatric condition characterized by the sudden onset of intense religious thoughts and emotions, which may, in some instances, escalate into a psychotic state, defined as a disruption in the perception of reality, during a visit to the city. The book also examines the neurotic dimension of the anxiety associated with Jerusalem — from cultural, religious, and messianic perspectives, suggesting that this experience, to varying degrees, is shared by many.

3. Eleganza Extravaganza
Book
Font Design
17x24 cm
200 pages

“Eleganza Extravaganza” explores the relationship between fashion and gender, showing how fashion has become fluid and crossed traditional gender boundaries. It reflects the postmodern discourse on identity and highlights the importance of freedom of expression and self-definition in a time when public discourse seeks to reimpose rigid gender norms.

4. Athens 2028
Branding

A brand book for the Athens 2028 Olympic Games featuring an adaptable logo (which changes in height) inspired by the Greek columns of ancient Greece. The pictograms utilize classic, humanistic shapes with abstracted silhouettes. Typography is predominantly set in Trajan Pro 3, a font designed based on Roman proportions. Specifically, in the posters, it resembles a Greek column monument. For instances requiring quick readability, Futura, a timeless classical font, is set.

5. DocAviv
Web Design

DocAviv website redesign focusing on the films through a transparent, content-first approach. The clean interface minimizes distractions, while a filtering system enables users to explore and cross-reference film topics and festival competitions. The visual language draws from cinema, with filmstrip-like columns and a red dot referencing recording.

6. 404 Error
Editorial Design

“404 Error” is a series of zines that explores the idea of failure from various angles. “What’s Your Glorious Failure?“ is a participatory project that collects anonymous confessions from individuals, celebrating honesty and imperfection. “Failures in Design“ shares stories of designers’ personal and professional failures, while “Broken Friendships“ reflects on the loss of close relationships and the passage of time.

7. Cineverse
Branding

A new viewing experience of classic movies of all time in a private virtual room with friends, taking place in HBO’s Metaverse. The project consists of three teasers and a branded wall.
